44-year old American rapper Kanye West, now officially known as Ye, is hoping for a second chance with Kim Kardashian.
Kim and Kanye split up and filed for divorce in February this year after being married for six years since 2014.
During his speech at the Los Angeles Mission Annual Thanks giving event, Ye said that he believes that God will once again bring the couple together.
“The narrative God wants is to see that we can be redeemed in all these relationships,” Ye said.
He admitted to have wronged Kim during their marriage.
“We’ve made mistakes. I’ve made mistakes. I’ve publicly done things that were not acceptable as a husband, but right now today, for whatever reason – I didn’t know I was going to be in front of this mic – but I’m here to change the narrative,” the rapper said.
He further said that was not going to let E! And Hulu, networks that run the Kardashian and Jenner family’s shows, write narratives about his family while claiming that he is the priest of his own home.
“If the enemy can separate Kimye, there’s going to be millions of families that feel like that separation is okay… but when God brings Kimye together, there’s going to be millions of families that are going to be influenced to see that they can overcome the work of the separation, of trauma the devil has used to capitalize to keep people in misery while people step over homeless people to go to the Gucci store,” the rapper said.
He also revealed that he moved to a house near Kim’s so that he could be close to his children, North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2, but that is not enough as he needed to be home.
Currently, Kim is said to be dating Adriana Grande’s ex boyfriend Pete Davidson even though they are keeping their relationship low.
The two have been spotted hanging out on a number of occasions and holding hands publicly hence sparking speculations that they are more than just friends.
