Controversial preacher Vctor Kanyari has revealed why he would demand for Kshs310 offering(mbegu ya 310) from his followers.
In a recent church service Kanyari said that the aim of the money was not to perform miracles as he used to promise but instead to make him rich
According to him, he was famous in the gospel industry then but he was very broke.
“Mimi ndio nilikuwa mhubiri anaongea Nairobi, hakukua na mwingine. Kina Ezekiel na Ng’ang’a hawakuwa, mimi ndio nilikuwa naongea hii town. Lakini sikuwa na pesa, ndio maana nikaanza kuitisha (Ksh)310. Nikasema panda mbegu ya 310 na tusibishanebishane. Si kutaka kwangu, umaskini ulikuwa umenitandika sawasawa,” he admitted.
He however noted that he had the power to heal and perform miracles.
“Nikaanza kuitisha 310 my friend, lakini sikujua Mungu alinipatia akili na maarifa, pesa nitajitafutia. Mungu alinipa annointing, lakini haikuwa annointing ya pesa. Ilikuwa ya kuponya watu magonjwa,” Kanyari added.
He further said that he currently has many cars that some lack parking spaces while his children go to good schools.
Kanyari was exposed in 2014 about how he would fake miracles to dupe his congregants to send him Kshs310 so that they would be able to receive what they desire.
