Veteran musician Juliani who also doubles as the boyfriend to Lillian Ng’ang’a has revealed that he was determined to pray for the late Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore at his death bed so that he heals but he refused to see him.
According to Juliani who spoke to Standard, he was taken aback after Bob Collymore strictly rejected his prayer offer yet the two had been best friends before.
“Weeks before he passed away Wambui called me and told me he was not going to make it. I got mad and went to his place wanting to pray for him but he refused for me to see him.
That messed me, I was like how would you refuse to see me? But later I understood why,” Juliani said.
However, Juliani confessed that he was proud to spend some time with him prior to his death even though he rejected his visit on his deathbed.
“I sat down in his living room and was talking about a project (Takabank), he went into the gym room and came with a whiteboard and made the plan himself.
We sat for like 5 hours, spending time inside the house and around the swimming pool area. He was frail and struggling but he did not want us to see it.
That weekend I saw him twice as it was also Wambui’s birthday. I did not think it would be the last time I saw him.” He stated.
In the meantime, the veteran rapper recently disclosed how exactly his relationship with governor Mutua’s wife Lillian Ng’ang’a began.
While speaking in an interview with a local TV station, Juliani stated that it never took long for them to fall in love.
According to him, they fell in love at first sight and it never took long for the two to begin engaging in romantic affairs.
It is then that he officially began pursuing Lillian Ng’ang’a, adding that there are a number of qualities he loved in Alfred Mutua’s wife Lillian Ng’ang’a.
“Lilian, I met her like early or mid-June. As a man I did not sleep in class,” Juliani said amid giggles.
With regards to what he liked in governor Mutua’s wife, Juliani stated that the woman not only respected herself but also had clarity of mind and purpose.
“I haven’t seen many women like that. She has clarity of mind, clarity of purpose.. the kind of things she values. She respects herself,” he shared.
On her side, Lillian Ng’ang’a equally came out in public to declare her love for Juliani by insisting that they were two adults who knew whatever they were doing.
“In this photo, are two fully conscious adults who have chosen to be together. Any other narrative is false, outdated and ill-intentioned. Let’s respect people’s choices,” read a brief statement from the immediate wife to Machakos governor Alfred Mutua.
