JKIA, Other Parts Affected by Power Blackout

Date:

The country experienced a nationwide blackout on Sunday December 10.

Reports alleged that the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) were among the areas affected.

This was despite assurance from Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen to purchase new generators.

However, Kenya Airports Authority had not corroborated JKIA outage reports.

Other Kenyans raised concerns over the blackout appealing to Kenya Power to swing to action.

It’s not clear what caused the blackout.
