Jalang’o Issues An Update On His Recovery Weeks After Suffering Serious Leg Injury

Date:

Lang’ata MP Phelix Odiwour aka Jalang’o has shared an update on the status of his leg after undergoing surgery.

The MP was forced to undergo surgery after sustaining a serious injury during a basket ball training on September 26.

“Last Tuesday during our morning Bunge basketball training I had an accident that tore my Achilles tendons, I had reconstructive surgery done and I am back home as the 6 week recovery journey begins,” he revealed then.

The embattled politician has however said that he is almost recovering and in three weeks he will be okay.

“Getting there…three weeks to go,” he captioned a photo of his his leg.

The month of September seemed to have been a bad one for the comedian turned politician because shortly before sustaining the leg injury, he was having troubles with his political party, ODM.

Early last month, he was expelled from ODM following his association with the current head of state William Ruto.

Others who were targeted in the crackdown are; Elisha Odhiambo (Gem), Caroli Omondi (Suba South), Gideon Ochanda (Bondo), and Kisumu Senator Tom Ojienda.

“The members are deemed to have resigned from the ODM, and the party is hereby directed to commence the process of removing them from the register of ODM,”ODM said.
