Singer Juliet Miriam Ayub popularly known as Jovial has revealed that she is being subjected to harassment.
According to a post she shared on her social media accounts, the Jeraha hitmaker is being stalked by her admirer whom she said is obsessed with her.
The man in question has tracked Jovial and knows where she leaves. Her attempts to block him from reaching her through her phone number have proved futile.
“Lately I have been dealing with an obsessed crush. This person has managed to know where I live after paying people to track me. I don’t know where he got my number. I have blocked him until I am tired,” Jovial said.
The singer further said that the man gets angry and behaves like they are dating whenever she posts any person on her social media pages.
Jovial is now living in fear but has not taken action against the stalker since she thinks he is well connected.
“He gets mad whenever I post anyone. He becomes aggressive as if I am his girlfriend. I told him I will report him and he said there is no problem. He will tell the police ‘He is just in love” so I should go ahead,” she added. I think he is well connected , I don’t know. It is really eating me up and I am scared. I am tired of keeping quiet,” she lamented.
This is not the first time Jovial is facing Harassment. A while ago, after performing at an event, Jovial face sexual harassment and she did not let it go.
She said that she dealt with the fan on the spot and betted that he would never repeat such a mistake.
“So for the first time a fan disrespectfully grabbed my a** after performance tukipita kuenda kukaa. Labda nitakutaarifu tu wewe pia kama una hio tabia. Maan hata yeye hakutarajia naweza kugeuka mbogo ghafla.(I will also inform you who has such manners, He did not expect that I can turn into a buffallo.),” she wrote on her Insta stories.
