Former news anchor Betty Kyallo for the first time in a long while has decided to stay single after suffering a break-up.
The mother of one said that it is going to take her a long time to be in a new relationship after her break-up with city lawyer Nick Ndeda because of the serious character development she has undergone adding that she is so tired of relationships.
In an interview with Dr. Ofweneke, Betty said that her break-up with Nick was just a normal thing but bloggers twisted the story so much and none of the reasons they gave for the break-up was true.
“Nick and I had a fantastic relationship, we liked each other’s company but I think at some point things don’t just work out and you realize… You know in a relationship it is about knowing each other and at some point you realize how a person is, so it reached a point we were just not seeing the same direction in regards to the relationship but I think it was just okay to move on,” Betty said.
She added that along the way, they discovered that some things about them clashed and that is why they went separate ways but she maintains that they are still good friends.
Betty however went on to list some of the characters of her ideal man, including kindness and God-fearing.
“First he has to be God fearing, I want a guy who is hardworking because I am a go getter I am extremely determined, I go for my dreams I want to make money I want to become rich I can only do this when my partner is on the same page and also yearning for the same thing, I want to go for vacations now and then, out of the country,” the former KTN news anchor said.
She added that, “I also like kind people because I am also a human being, from the way they treats guards, waiters, those are the things that I really look for, the way they treat their family, for me those are the things that matter kindness, gentleness and somebody I can have fun with because I have this business side of me but I have this side where I want to go out, I want to dance, so a person whom we can balance.”
