President Uhuru Kenyatta is said to have spies in William Ruto’s camp and for a long time it has been claimed that Moses Kuria is the mole.
Kuria hails from Gatundu South constituency which is also the rural home of President Uhuru, the duo is said to in good terms behind the scene and adversaries in public.
Several Tangatanga members have accused Kuria of wrecking Ruto’s camp from within with his refusal to join UDA.
Kuria insists he supports Ruto’s presidential bid but he refused to fold his party and be a full member of UDA. The DP has reiterated that he will not seek coalition agreements with other parties as demands full loyalty for his new political outfit.
The Gatundu South MP strongly defended himself against claims that he is Uhuru’s mole in Ruto’s camp while speaking during an interview on KTN News on Wednesday, September 22nd.
Kuria stated that he suspects that Ruto himself could be Uhuru’s mole in the Tangatanga camp given that the two have walked together for long
“First of all I told you the last time I talked to the President is three years ago; which is regrettable because I am his Member of Parliament. If I was to be a mole, I would have been comfortable be in Kieleweke because I am the President’s MP. In fact, one of the moles I suspect is William Ruto. I think he is Uhuru’s spy because even they even come from far together and certain things you cannot understand,” Moses Kuria said.
On associating with allies of President Uhuru, Kuria explained that it does not amount to being a kieleweke member adding that if he wanted to be out of Tangatanga he could have done so easily.
“This is the pettiness and backwardness that is defining our Kenya politics that I have refused to be part of. By the way, I talk to everyone; I talk to Baba, I talk to Kalonzo, I talk to Musalia and if I meet With Ruto I will tell him that I met so and so. If doing is going to ake me a wasted politician, let it be so. How will you know how to fight this battle if you don’t interact with these people?” said Kuria.
