“I Accept That I Am HIV Positive But I Will Never Take Any ARVs”- Luo Lady Ruth James

Controversial Luo woman Ruth James has caused an online storm once more after revealing that she will never take the ARV drugs no matter what.

Ruth James  admitted that she is HIV positive but she will only see Antiretroviral Therapy (ARVs) in Viusasa 

“I accept that I am HIV positive, but I will never take any medicine.” She wrote

Ruth James last year left Kenyans from all walks of life talking after she threatened via her Facebook account to publish names of men she had infected with HIV/AIDs.

The frustrated Luo woman believed that it was high time she published the names of those men she had infected with HIV and AIDS so that Kenyan women would know them in advance.

“I want to expose everyone i have given HIV,” posted Ruth.

To add salt to the injury, Ruth James revealed that approximately 100 men had slept with her using zero protection and that she would parade their names for Kenyans to see.

“Itugona. Chuo 100 mar facebook dwa thoo gi stress,” she posted in her local dialect. (You are joking with me. 100 men on Facebook are so stressed up and will die soon.)

Fastforward, Ruth has now vowed not to take ARVs. However, these sentiments did not go well with most of her followers on Facebook having different opinions. Below were the sentiments by her followers:

“Do you know that your life is important than anything else?? Accept your New you, take the drugs and live a decent life.”

“Whether you take medicine or not, that’s none of our business, we’re out here battling with the rising cost of living, pambana na hali yako.”

“Remember HIV started long time ago unfortunately sweeping a good number before interventions were started. Those who didn’t accept the interventions are now refered to as ‘THE LATE’! Fortunately HIV will not kill you but opportunistic infections won’t spare you. Ibiro diiiiewo mama to dendi bo chalo ng’ech!”

“Your death has no impact on our lives Ruth James..you were born alone you will die alone..puga.”

“Whoever gave Ruth a smartphone did her more harm than good..This girl need to be out of social media my thinking though. So long as it makes you happy nobody cares mom??”
