Angry Raila Embarrasses His Dog Junet In Kisumu During Azimio Rally Over This Silly Demand

Date:

The range Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga on Friday disagreed with Suna east member of parliament Junet Mohamed.

Junet Mohamed had approached Raila as he addressed Kisumu locals in Luo to change from his mother tongue to Kiswahili. The Suna East interfered with the ODM leader and whispered the same in his ears, trusting that Raila would obey his instruction since he was the master of ceremony.

However, the angry Raila quickly told off Junet Mohamed while reminding him that he had been speaking Kiswahili in all his political rallies hence there was nothing wrong with him addressing the locals in the language they understood best.

“Stop telling me to speak Kiswahili. I always address all my rallies in Swahili but I must talk to our people in Luo s that they understand me. Those who don’t understand can seek for interpretation from those who understand.” Said Raila as Junet tried hiding at the podium to save face.

True to his words, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader continued addressing the locals in Luo where he reiterated his manifesto of making Kenya a first world country by providing free education from primary school all the way to the university.

The ODM leader also emphasized about his Babacare and the six thousand Kenya shilling economic stimulus package to the unemployed households.

Earlier in the morning, Mbita member of parliament Millie Odhiambo was also involved in a war of words with Suna East legislator Junet Mohamed during their Azimio rally in Kisumu city.

Millie Odhiambo who rose to speak told off the master of ceremony Mr. Junet Mohamed over what she termed as unfairness.

According to Millie Odhiambo, Junet being the master of ceremony was selectively favoring men at the expense of women. She said that Junet was dismissing women very fast to finish their speeches at the podium while giving men more time.

In the meantime, Raila took time to clarify his recent madoadoa remarks in Wajir county. The ODM leader stated that he was right since he only urged residents to elect Azimio candidates as opposed to what Meru senator Mithika Linturi said in Eldoret,

“What I said in Wajir had nothing to do with incitement. My madoada sentiments were only meant to make the people elect the Azimio candidates and reject the others. People are comparing my sentiments with those of Mithika but the two are as different as day and night. Mithika in his madodo urged non locals to leave Eldoret.” Said Raila.

His sentiments came just a few hours after he was summoned by the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC).
