Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa has left Kenyans in awe after managing to pull a huge crowd on a campaign trail in Bungoma.
Baraza took the hustler nation campaigns alone in the county and according to a video shared on social media, a huge crowd could be seen dancing and singing around his campaign vehicle.
“BUNGOMA is Decided! @DidmusWaBarasa – proves it while all alone,” read the caption of the video that was shared by Dennis Itumbi.
Barasa’s supporters said that he deserves all the support because of his development record in Kimilili constituency.
“@DidmusWaBarasa is doing great things at the ground. I think other leaders mostly from Nyanza region should do the same si kukuja Karen asubuhi bila kufanya bidii kwa grass root noo. Eliud Owalo should do something,” Manuu J Njoroge
“What Didmus Barasa did- campaigning on his own- in Bungoma today is the way to go for UDA. Each parliamentarian, Senator and Governor should mobilize campaigns in his or her backyard. Ruto should just be joining ongoing campaigns in counties not initiating campaigns himself,” Shawn Tuesday suggested
His haters however claimed that now Kenya Kwanza team was copying Azimio la Umoja campaign strategy, by going to campaign without DP William Ruto, just like Azimio has been doing without the leader Raila Odinga.
“Decided on Barasa not William Ruto think….kichwa kubwa not everyone will vote for Barasa must vote for Ruto …ka**ende wewe,” Brian said.
“Naaaa. this is not it mr. western is locked under azimio. you’ll weep after the elections,”Ramsy tweeted.
“U want to prove that the rank n file of TT can pull crowds without chief thief? Copying azimio strategy but bado hamwezani,” Jinga Toboa said
“He is heading to DAP-K and it’s evident even himself he dons no UDA outfit nor is any of his supporters,” John Kennedy wrote.
Others went ahead and shared a video of Barasa slapping musician Steve K to prove that his past deeds are not forgotten.
