Speaking after the grilling, Ruto noted that his main Competitor, Raila Odinga did not make it to the debate because he does not have a plan for Kenyans..
“We didn’t quite get down into the real manifesto issues. I would have hoped that my competitor would have been here so that Kenyans would have the benefit of looking at both sides unfortunately it is understandable that there is only one plan in this election, the Kenya Kwanza plan the other side have sketches and that is why they are not here,” Ruto noted.
Ruto further said that Raila could not come to the debate because of conflict of interest following his union with the sitting head of state.
