You may not like deputy president Rigathi Gachagua but one thing you have to give to the man is his ability to tell the truth without twisting it irrespective of the audience.
That Riagthi gachagua decided to shoot straight without mincing his words left many people shocked and wondering why he had to air his grievances in public.
Specifically, his wife pastor Dorcas Rigathi seemed uncomfortable with the words her husband was saying since they made him appear like someone who was on a revenge mission instead of practicing forgiveness which pastor Dorcas preaches every Sunday.
At some point, the facial expression of Dorcas when her husband Rigathi Gachagua was addressing the audience revealed a woman who wanted to walk to the podium and tell the deputy president that enough was enough.
Mr. Rigathi was hard on president Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration as he cited a number of injustices that were meted on them by the outgoing regime.
“I want to tell the people of Kenya that from today you are free. Kenya is now a democratic country. You don’t have to look back when you do something. All Kenyans are free to associate with whoever they want. It became a crime in this country to be a friend of William Ruto.” He continued in a sustained attack before the world.
The deputy president added that state agencies would no longer be misused like it was in the case of President Uhuru’s regime where the likes of chiefs and county commissioners were being used to manage politics.
With nowhere to hide the face following her husband’s sustained attack on president Uhuru before the, Gachagua further hit at the outgoing head of state for evicting poor people from their houses and harassing businessmen through the Kenya Revenue Authority.
The visibly annoyed Gachagua went ahead to humiliate Uhuru by opening up that the retired president had finished all the money in the coffers and left nothing behind. All this time pastor Dorcas Gachagua looked very humiliated.
