Japanese superstar Naomi Osaka has left tongues wagging in Kenya after launching her media company and naming it “hana kuma.”
Naomi Osaka partnered with NBA star LeBron james to establish the new media company that has been the talk of town for the last few days.
While the name hana kuma in Japanese means “flower bear”, Kenyans on Twitter could not let the phrase pass without sharing their own perspective.
Hana Kuma is a swahili name meaning “she does not have a female private part ” which explains why Kenyans have gone bananas over the name.
