Japanese Superstar Naomi Osaka Angrily Responds To Kenyans Over Her “Hana Kuma” Name

Date:

Japanese superstar Naomi Osaka has been forced to respond to Kenyans on twitter who have been castigating her choice of business name.

For the better part of Tuesday, Kenyans on social media took issue with the hana kuma name, with some claiming that the name was very immoral.

Well, it seems the accusations by Kenyans attracted the attention of Naomi Osaka who gave a simple response in rebuttal.

Through her official twitter handle dubbed NaomiOsaka, the tenis superstar termed them as “overthinkers” as she made it clear that she will put such people in her prayers.

“Prayers for all my overthinkers. We be going through it” She tweeted.

Following her response, her followers had the following to tell her:

“If you keep the name ‘#hanakuma , the name will override the news and the stories you wish to share. The name of the brand is already news! I suggest a change and also, just being a bit respectful to global culture. It’s not overthinking here, it’s protecting a brand!!”

‘Thoughts and prayers’ for overthinkers…or maybe just prayers since y’all have too many thoughts?”

“Yeah… it’s difficult and exhausting. I just wish I can stop over thinking everything. My social anxiety doesn’t help either. Thank you for the prayers tho”

“Why are you concentrating on so called ‘over thinkers’?? Leave them”

“About choice of the name Hana Kuma. East Africa is in awe”

“The name hana kuma is selling more than the business itself. You should open a branch here in east Africa and see your business boom within a few days. People like such controversial names.”

“You have a good business but the choice of the name is letting down. You ought to have looked for Kenyans before deciding to use hana kuma.”
