Uasin Gishu woman representative Gladys Boss Shollei has defended the move to carry in her laptop at the Bomas of Kenya when tallying was ongoing.
Shollei while speaking at KTN News vehemently defended her move to carry the laptop which did not go well with her Azimio counterparts at the Bomas of Kenya.
According to the woman rep, there is no way she could carry all the copies of over 46,000 forms 34As hence it was only ideal for her to get in with the laptop for the sake of the verification exercise.
At the same time, Gladys Shollei stated that it was unfortunate the laptop was taken away from her by the Criminal Investigation Officers.
On his side, Kanchorry Saitabao refuted claims by the Uasin Gishu as he accused her of breaking the rules that none of them would come in with physical materials including laptops and physical forms 34As.
Saitabao also took a swipe at the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) chairman Wafula Chebukati for dictating the verification process as if thou it was his private kitchen.
For the better part of Saturday, Raila’s team at Bomas were very very uncomfortable with Gladys Shollei with all kinds of allegations being thrown at her right, left and center.
They claimed that Gladys Shollei sneaked into the main auditorium where verification was being done with doctored forms, a move which saw Raila Odinga’s chief agent Saitabao Ole Kanchorry declare Bomas “a crime scene.”
According to one Kiyo Nganga, Gladys Shollei being smart was swapping documents from her car without being noticed. In fact, others claimed that the Uasin Gishu woman rep even put on gloves at some point so that her fingerprints are not traced in the alleged papers.

“Rigging cartel: Gladys Boss Shollei has been sneaking to the car, hiding forms under her kabuti and bringing them in, hands them to one Edwin Wanjogu who is in the UDA ICT team for swapping. The IT guy whose laptop was seized yesterday is on the run, his notebook shows he was given backroom access to the IEBC portal.
