Baringo senator Gideon Moi on Monday lost one of his allies Musa Sirma who dumped him for deputy president William Ruto.
Musa Sirma was the former Minister for East Africa Community having served previously as a member of parliament for Eldama Ravine Constituency.
The former legislator was earlier today received by William Ruto to his new political party UDA (United Democratic Alliance) at the Karen residence.
The move by Gideon Moi’s confidant to join DP Ruto is seen as a step aimed at uniting the Kalenjin region so that they speak in one voice ahead of the 2022 general elections.
