Friends Speak On Reported Suicide Of Kitengela Man Whose Wife Killed Their Daughter Before Hanging Herself

Date:

Jane Wairimu Macharia killed her two-year-old daughter and committed suicide at the Deliverance area of Kitengela after she got tired of her husband’s infidelity.

The 31-year-old woman left a suicidal note explaining that she was tired of being cheated on by her husband.

On that fateful on August 16th 2021, Jane locked herself in the house after her husband left for work and killed their daughter before she also hanged herself.

Her husband was forced to breakdown the door when he returned home in the evening only to find his wife’s lifeless body hanging in the birth room with a rope on her neck while the  baby girl was found on the couple’s matrimonial bed lying dead.

Fast forward to September 5th, news broke on Facebook that Jane’s husband had also decided to kill himself.

It was reported that the man killed himself because he couldn’t handle the guilt of being associated with his wife’s death.

It was also said that he left behind a suicide note reading “RIP My love and daughter, I will join you in paradise.”

People who know Jane’s husband were quick to dismiss the death reports on Facebook stressing that he was very much alive.

“Fake news …Nkt! My buddy is very much alive,” wrote Stephen Kinyanjui

“Yani mnatoa wapi nguvu ya kupost uwongo I am in contact with him na ameona hii post how do you expect him to feel honestly pull down this crap and do something constructive with your bundles and time nkt,” wrote Adelaide Talam.
