It seems that Kenyans will have to wait a bit longer to know the fate of the presidential petition that is before the Supreme Court.

Earlier, the Supreme court announced that the judgment will be delivered at 12pm on Monday but that might not be the case because of the standoff that the 7-bench are currently experiencing.

According to a senior reporter at Citizen TV, Seth Olale, the ruling will be delivered at 3pm. He further stated that 5-2  judges are in favor of the petition.

Apparently, failure to reach a consensus on time is what delayed the announcement of the actual time that the judges would give their ruling.

Even though the outcome of the petition is yet to be known, a section of Kenya Kwanza supporters are however already celebrating victory while their opponents are already sensing defeat. Here are some reactions about the matter.

“BABA you will forever be my Hero. They played you all halong. It was a LONG CON.We live to fight another day,” Babu Owino said in a tweet.
