Former Milele Presenter Felix Odiwour alias Jalang’o is set to join Kiss FM after he announced a possible reunion with the former employer.
Jalang’o’s dream comeback is likely to come to light after the radio show host Andrew Kibe announced that he will be quitting the Radio Africa owned station.
Andrew Kibe who used to co-host the Kibe and Kamene breakfast bid his goodbyes to his fans through a social media post morning.
“It has been real watu nguyas. I will miss all your nonsense in the morning especially,” Andrew Kibe wrote on his Twitter handle.
With the departure of Kibe from the station, Jalang’o’s fans expect him to take over from the controversial radio presenter as soon as the 1st of July.
Kibe is leaving Kiss FM after exactly one year since he and his co-host Kamene were controversially poached from NRG Radio in a messy divorce that ended at the Employment and Labor Court.
The two – Kibe and Kamene has been the sweet darling of radio shows and even carved a niche in the very competitive radio industry. Listeners are now eager to see how the chemistry between Jalang’o and Kamene will work.
Kenyans on Twitter have taken to social media to express their mixed reaction to Jalang’o’s reunion with the former employer. Same as the time when he was joining Jeff Koinange at Royal Media Station- Hot 96, some fans have once again devalued Jalang’o’s ability to outshine Kibe at Kiss 100.
One Martin 24 wrote, “Hehe. But Jalang’o cant fit on Kiss FM. Kiss FM target audience cant relate with his dry holes,”
“The Duo (Kibe and Kamene) is unbeatable. Kiss 100 is doing the same mistake it did with Shaffie Weru and Kalekye Mumo. Kamene without Kibe is a no way… Jalang’o and Kamene hamko serious guys,” one Ismael said.
Some of the fans who seem to be pleased with the development have supported the move and couldn’t wait to listen to him at his new employer.

“Jalang’o started his career at Kiss with Caroline Mutoku for many years, what makes you think he can’t fit there anymore? I think he is more experienced, and with a lot of content everywhere he goes he wins big,” Brian Mwenga said.
Jalang’o horned his skills in broadcast radio at Kiss FM where he worked alongside Caroline Mutoku before joining Radio Maisha.
Jalang’o replacing Kibe has come as a shocker though as it has earlier been believed that he was going to replace Gidi Gidi instead of Kibe. Gidi has however announced that he was at Kiss 100 to stay.
