Farouk Kibet, Ruto’s Ruthless Aide Who Literally Slaps And Turns Away Visitors Bothering His Boss

Date:

When one mentions the name Farouk Kibet, what comes to mind immediately is one powerful man around deputy president William Samoei Ruto.

Farouk Kibet runs the show especially when it comes to who pays a visit to the deputy president’s official Karen residence. If you’re on good books with Kibet, then be assured of getting whatever you want from the second in command and you better pray that he likes you because you can consider your goose cooked if he does not like your face.

Simply put, Ruto trusts Farouk Kibet even more than he trusts the likes of Oscar Sudi and Kipchumba Murkomen.

Recently, Garissa town member of parliament Aden Duale brought out the true colors of Farouk Kibet when he narrated how the man does not just entertain any Tom Dick and Harry around William Ruto.

Duale confessed that there are many goodies at William Ruto’s place and the man who can either make you to get or miss these goodies is one Farouk Kibet. According to Duale, the man does not simply care about the size of your problem as long as you are an unwanted visitor who came without an appointment from him. Infact, hakuna cha ati niliongea na mkubwa akaniambia nikuje. Biblically, Farouk Kibet would be compared to Jesus who made it clear that “no one would see my Father before passing through me.”

Duale added that parliamentarians around the deputy president have to wake up on a daily basis praising Farouk Kibet because they know that is the right thing to do or else their goose can be cooked anytime and their political ambitions be brought to an instant end.

“At William Ruto’s office there are good things and the man who runs the show is Farouk Kibet. Farouk can make your life difficult when you want something from Ruto since he is the way in and the way out.No one bypasses Farouk Kibet and succeeds within Ruto’s circles.

“Even if you’re very hungry, Farouk Kibet will tell you to come back another day while pointing his wrist watch and reminding you “my friend your day is on Tuesday ”. Now you wonder if you’re very hungry and this man tells you to try another day, probably Thursday to see the deputy president.”

Aden Duale continued: “even these members of parliament know very well that they have to be loyal to Farouk Kibet and continually praise him because failure to do that has dire consequences that would better be imagined than experienced.”

Just recently, the no nonsense gatekeeper almost slapped former Machakos senator Johnson Muthama on stage during the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party national Delegates Conference (NDC) at kasarani stadium.

Muthama was addressing the crowd when Farouk appeared from nowhere. He then whispered something in his ears and from the facial expressions, Kibet was not happy with Muthama as he kept throwing his hands in the air near him. He then quickly walked away from the stage having made his point to Muthama.  It was not clear what really annoyed Ruto’s right hand man during the UDA NDC.

Many people have compared Farouk Kibet to what the late Nicholas Biwott was to the former president Daniel Torotich Arap Moi. Biwott was Moi’s ear and he could make Moi go left or right at his convenience. Moi trusted the man even more than his firstborn son Jonathan Moi who was very close to the mother.
