A 32-year old man who has been posing as a magistrate and conning Nakuru residents money has been arrested by detectives.
Victor Kiprono Ng’eno was arrested following a police operation that was conducted on Saturday October 9.
Fake employment letters from the Judicial Service Commission were also recovered.
This comes after locals complained about Ng’eno last year.
It is alleged that the suspect acted as a magistrate and even promised to intervene in some crucial cases once a deposit was made.
According to the County Criminal Investigations Officer Anthony Sunguti, the suspect has been on the run for some time.
Sunguti said that the suspected had a tendency of duping unsuspecting Kenyans by purporting to be a judicial officer in Nakuru.

The suspect is claimed to have falsely obtained Ksh1.6 million from Samuel Soi on different dates between March 15, 2018 and December 31, 2019.

He is also said to have obtained Ksh100,000 from Soi to expedite a civil case lodged at Nakuru Law Courts.
