The two sectors are extremely powerful and influential, according to Aaron Cheruiyot.

Mr Aaron Cheruiyot, the Senate Majority Leader, says President William Ruto will not be victorious in eradicating cartels in the two crucial industries.

Kenyan banking and the media are the two sectors that cartels have deep roots and massive control over everything according to the vocal politician.

He continued by saying that these two industries cooperate to defend one another and that, for the benefit of the general public, a balance is necessary.

Via his Twitter account, he says, “President Willian Samoei Ruto will succeed in crushing every cartel in the country save for two that are extremely powerful. 1. KE Banks 2. KE Media Both are very powerful, influential, and synergise so well to protect each other’s interests. For the public good, a way must be found.”
