Former Nairobi County Secretary and Head of County Public Service Board Dr. Robert Ayisi has died of Covid-19 related complications, family members have confirmed.

As of Wednesday, November 4, Kenya had recorded 58,587 confirmed Covid-19 cases.
The news of his death comes just days after rumors about his death surfaced. However, the family refuted the claims. As of Mondays, Ayisi was in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Due to the false alarm raised Governor Sonko was forced to retract his condolence message he had posted on social media and apologized to the family.
Kenyans also joined in sending their heartfelt messages to the family on social media until the governor retracted his message.
