A police officer and seven others dies at a stampede in a concert at the democratic republic of Congo where masses of people turned up to watch their favorite star Fally Ipupa perform.
The biggest stadium in the DRC which has a capacity of carrying 80,000 today had a mass of about 120,000 who showed up for the love of the music.
One of the police men reported,” it was a stampede, that caused the death of the music lover were suffocated.”
The song writer and singer Fally Ipupa had arrived several hours after the concert starting time just like all the Congolese singers who were expected to perform.
