Proceeding in Mombasa Law Court were on Thursday forced to adjourn the hearing after three Chinese nationals showed up fully dressed in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
The court magistrate was compelled to push the hearing after she mistook the suspects for officials from the Health Ministry who had come to pick a suspected Covid-19 case.
The magistrate was forced to adjourn the hearing to a later date after some court officials panicked.
The three suspects are facing bribery charges according to the court document. The suspects are said to have tried to bribe some detectives who were investigating a case against them.
