DP Ruto Leads Politicians In Sending Goodwill Messages To Raila On His Birthday

Deputy President William Ruto has led politicians from different political divides in wishing Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga a happy birthday as he turned 77.

In a statement shared on Ruto’s official Twitter account, the DP said, “happy birthday Jakom. May you be blessed with many more.”

Joining Ruto in sending messages of goodwill, former Machakos Senator and UDA Chairman Johnson Muthama wished Raila good health on his special day.

“Happy Birthday Jakom. The Hustler Nation wishes you good health as you celebrate your special day,” Muthama tweeted.

Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana also took to his social media platforms to wish the former premier a happy birthday.

“Happy birthday Raila Odinga. May God grant you many more years for service to your country and continent,” he tweeted.

On her part, Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu sent her message of goodwill and that of her constituents to Raila wishing him good health.

“Jakom, this is your year. Happy Birthday, Baba. The people of Kitui and I wish you good health full of God’s blessings and many more birthdays,” Ngilu said.

Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho also wished Raila a happy birthday referring to him as a global leader.

“As you start a new chapter in life let the annals of history record you not only as a global leader and a hero but also as a father of this nation. Happy birthday Baba,” Joho said.
