Dennis Karani, Man Accused Of Killing Samuel At Mirema Finally Reveals What He Knows

Date:

Dennis Karani, the man accused of being behind the shooting of one Samuel Mugoh at Mirema in Kasarani constituency has finally broken his silence.

Dennis Karani while surrendering to the police on Monday made it clear that he was very innocent despite the accusations going round that he was behind the death of the late Samuel Mugoh.

According to Dennis karani Gachoki, he only met Muvota twice. The two met once in Meru county then later in Nairobi as per his statement.

The man further revealed that he is currently having a court case in Meru having been accused of receiving money acquired through fraudulent means.

This comes in the wake of the directorate of criminal investigation revealing that one Denis Karani Gachoki was the lethal man suspected to have shot and killed Samuel Mugoh Muvota in broad daylight.

According to the officers, the armed and dangerous man was suspected to be in possession of a firearm that was snatched from a stupefied Police officer, after a round of drinks at a popular joint in Mombasa, in November, 2020

The DCI added that the suspected killer has been a thorn in the flesh and that efforts to arrest him have been futile since the thug is not only well loaded  but also influences rogue police officers who give him intelligence on how to move whenever there are operations to arrest him.

Below was part of the statement by the DCI:

“In one occasion, Gachoki’s accomplice was texted minutes before his arrest, throwing a spanner in the works of a meticulous operation that had taken months to put together.

The detectives based at DCI’s Comms unit have since gathered that Gachoki, recently fell out with his boss Muvota over sharing of proceeds from their Pishori trade, and beautiful women who would first pay with their flesh before being enlisted to the mafia-style organization.

This among other beefs are suspected to have led to a bitter fallout leading to Monday’s daylight murder of Samuel Mugoh Muvota, who has left behind seven grieving widows and countless children.

Forensic Cyber detectives picked Gachoki’s last signal deep inside burnt forest, hours after the murder. We believe that the suspect has already crossed the border to a neighbouring country.”
