Tanzania songbird Zuhura Othman Soud alias Zuchu has insisted on going for her Nigerian concert after suffering a knee injury.
Zuchu revealed to her fans that she had sustained the injury after an accident even though it is not clear how she ended up hurting herself.
In a series of tweets, the Nyumba ndogo hitmaker said that she could not bear canceling the much awaited show and will have to perform like that.
“Nimepata Ajali ndogo iliyo umiza goti langu jana siku moja kabla ya safari yangu kwenda kuperform Kwenye show Ya Muhimu kwangu nchini Nigeria .Canceling a show is one of the hardest decisions siwezi as an artist leo ndo nimejua .Nitakwenda hivyo hivyo .( I have been involved in a minor accident and my knee got injured just a day before my trip to Nigeria for a concert that is very important to me. I will go just like that),” Zuchu said.
She went to the extent of showing her injured knee being stitched by a person believed to be a doctor and asked her fans to pray for her.
“My manager keeps telling me that my health is important but I know I will feel very bad to cancel such a show. It is better for me to struggle on the stage so pray for me . I Am hurt and confused,” she captioned the video.
Several of her followers wished her a quick recovery as others commended her for being strong.
