Defiant Comedian Eric Omondi has vowed to go back to the Nairobi Central Business District (CBD) and hold another serious demo that will shock the nation.
While opening up on what really happened, Eric Omondi confessed that he panicked after he realized that around 7 men were baying for his blood as they pushed him into the police car.
“There was a moment of panic when I realized I was actually getting a******d… When the OCS came and said, a****t him”. Nikasema, weh, kwani wananishika? What you’re seeing around the police car is a moment of anger from the police, a moment of panic from myself. There were like 7 men. They were trying to push me into the car and I knew if I go into this car, it’s over for me.
The comedian was also surprised that he had no mark or scratch on his body despite being pushed and falling down with a thud.
“When I’m pushed and I’m falling down, it’s God… I can’t believe I have no scratch on my body. or the very first time I went into the police cells. Nikaingia uko ndani nikapata wakenya, they were like 10, 12.”
The self proclaimed president of comedy Eric Omondi was recently arrested by the police as he tried to lead a procession of artists to the parliament.
Last week, the comedian rallied Kenyan artists to join him to proceed to parliament to make some demands that would revive the music industry which he claimed was dead.
According to a video shared in social media, Eric was in the company of some few friends in the entertainment industry and could be seen trying to resist arrest under unclear circumstances.
Another video shared on his Instagram account shows the comedian and fellow artist heading to the parliament as they shout the name of the Starehe MP Charles Njagua Kanyi alias Jaguar
According to his brother Felix Omondi, the self proclaimed president of comedy was taken to the Central Police Station.
