Congolese Rhumba artist Faya Tess has released a rhumba song in honor of COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli.
The song titled Francis Atwoli was published on YouTube on January 15, 2022 and so far it has garnered 26,047 views.
Apparently the video of the song was shot during Faya Tess’ visit in Kenya over the festive season in December 2021.

Atwoli invited Faya Tess and Nyboma to entertain his family and friends for his end year party something that caused an uproar on social media
“At the arrival of Coco Nyboma and Faya Tess for the end year family and friends entertainment while we thank God for everything,” Atwoli shared on Twitter on December 28,2021.
In the song, Faya Tess refers to Atwoli as the voice of workers and a good leader while wishing blessings for him.
A section of Kenyans have said that the song is on fire and soothing despite their dislike for the Cotu boss. According to them, the song will make Atwoli be remembered for generations to come.
“I don’t support Atwoli and his political positions but I like how he markets himself. This song will make him be remembered for decades. Faya Tess has done it. @AtwoliDza,” Dennis Aunga said on Twitter.Â
