Well, it is another week and as usual, we got you covered on top entertainment stories that shaped conversations this week.
First off, Love is in the air! On Saturday, City Doctor Juspus Rusana proposed to Elseba Awuor Kokeyo aka Cebbie Koks Nyasego and she said “YES”.
Cebbie who is Akothee’s younger sister was engaged during the officially partnership of Jada Express and Pete’s coffee, brands she works for as their Brand Ambassador.
During the proposal Mr. Rusana gifted his fiancée (Cebbie) a brand new Car (Volvo XC60), a gas cylinder, one of the most expensive colognes, Samsung Note 10 and a pair of sneakers.
Later on, an excited Cebbie shared a photo from the beautiful proposal with a caption that reads “Yes I do”.
The engagement attracted lots of congratulatory messages from her Insta-family, with many wishing her well as she starts a new chapter in her life.
Sad news indeed. Popular comedian Charles Bukeko alias Papa Shirandula died Covid-19, the family has said. Shirandula’s brother-in-law Ronald Wanyama said he experienced difficulties in breathing and was rushed to the Karen Hospital.
“It is sad that he didn’t make it out of the hospital alive. He had tested positive for Covid-19. We are devastated,” he said.
Papa Shirandula died on the day Kenya recorded its highest number of Covid-19 infections after 688 people tested positive for the disease in the last 24 hours.

The journalist, who has been prominent in covering the pandemic and its effects in the country, says he found out his status after undergoing testing at the Nairobi Hospital.
“I didn’t have any signs and even now I don’t have any signs,” he told the Star in an interview.“I am fine and have my appetite as before. You might even think I am pretending.”
Letoo adds that getting into isolation, as per the regulations of the pandemic, has been the most difficult period of his recovery, yet.
“I want to ask Kenyans to be more careful. It is sad when you cannot trace where you got the disease from,” he said. Letoo’s admission brings to three the number of media houses directly affected by Covid-19.
