CNN journalist Larry Madowo has surfaced on social media after months of a deafening silence on social media.
Madowo left his fans and followers concerned and worried about his whereabouts after avoiding social media for three months.
The last time he had shared something on his twitter account was back on February 7 saying “Lord, I see what you’re doing for other teams” and a post about Senegal’s victory in the Afcon finals.
On Monday however, Madowo surfaced online when he shared a post on his LinkedIn account while marking one year at CNN.
“I’m one year old at CNN today. It’s been an extraordinary year reporting and anchoring from four continents and I could not be more grateful. But I’m an African first and I’d love to tell more of our stories. Do you have any ideas? Please share in the comments or slide into my DMs,” the former NTV journalist said.
On Friday, he also made ‘an appearance’ on Twitter where he shared a post about his delayed graduation.
“My in-person graduation from @Columbia was delayed by 2 years but it was still special. I came back to New York to confirm that my master’s in Business & Economics Journalism was real. It is & they haven’t changed their minds,” Madowo said.
