Elgeyo Marakwet Woman Representative Caroline Ng’elechei on Monday February 26 escaped unhurt after the vehicle she was traveling overturned along the Moim- Kapkoi Road in Uasin Gishu County.
Reports allege that the car overturned on the road due to brakes failure.
Fortunately, the politician and her driver did not sustain any major injuries.
By the time of publishing this article, Ng’elechei had however not addressed the circumstances surrounding the accident.
The vehicle appeared to have rolled over a few times before landing on its side.
Before the vehicle was eventually towed away from the road, traffic had built up slightly mostly from boda riders and residents who gathered near the scene to witness what had occurred.
