There was a stand off during UDA campaigns in Westlands, Nairobi after Bishop Margaret Wanjiru and Senator Johnson Sakaja engaged in an altercation.
The stand off was allegedly witnessed after Wanjiru was jeered by the crowd as she gave her remarks.
According to sources, Wanjiru accused Sakaja of inciting the crowd against her.
“I deserve respect, we are both leaders here in Nairobi,” Wanjiru angrily told Sakaja.
Sakaja however asked the crowd to give each leader a chance to make their remarks.
““Everyone has a right to be listened to, please let’s stop this,” Sakaja pleaded with the crowd.
