A lady identified as Sylvia Kibe has come out to expose former Kiss FM presenter Andrew Kibe for being a deadbeat dad.
In an interview with a local YouTube channel, Sylvia claimed that the veteran presenter ran away to the US and got married there.
“My name is Sylvia Kibe. Kibe ran away and left me with our child and he went to the Whites to drive them but in real sense he is married there,” she said.
Sylvia assumed the presenter’s surname even though they are not married so that it would be easy for her to pass the name to her son, whom she named Brandon.
According to her, he left without notifying her that they had split up, but he just said that he was going to work.
“After leaving, saying that he had gotten a job, I called him. My Kibe is married. If I call him nowadays he doesn’t pick,” Sylvia said.
Sylvia and Kibe met in Lang’ata when she had gone to wash clothes for people. She says that Kibe loved her at that instance and asked her to be washing his clothes for a better pay and that is how their love bloomed.
“Kibe has now blocked me. He should remember the son that he left behind. I will be grateful if he sends even Kshs500 for the baby,” she said.
She however noted that she is not chasing clout and there was no reason to lie about the story. She runs a smoky business but the money she gets won’t be enough for bringing up their son.
