“Asante Ya Punda Ni Mateke” Wanjigi Fumes After Being Humiliated By Edwin Sifuna, Announces His Next Moves(Video)

Date:

Businessman Jimi Wanjigi has severed his relationship with ODM leader Raila Amollo Odinga once and for all.

This is after he was chased out of the ODM’s NDC that was going on at the Kasarani grounds in Nairobi by ODM secretary general Edwin Sifuna.

Wanjigi showed up for the event but Sifuna ordered that he be thrown out as he was not welcomed.

“Dear Kenyans, today you witnessed what we call a debacle to democracy. I, an ODM member 06596 sought as the delegate of the NDC to attend   my party’s delegate’s congress. We were welcomed until we got to the entrance of the VIP at that entrance the secretary general ordered some goons to chase us out,” the businessman said in a press briefing at Safari Park.

Wanjigi however added that he had forgiven Sifuna but shifted blame to the party leader Raila Odinga.

“All I asked was the fairness of this party to compete for the presidency of this party that I have loved so much their answer has been kicks and blows throughout as demonstrated today.

“Raila Odinga I thank you very much for the kicks and blows you have shown me. This is you thank you to the many years of a relationship we have had. You are not the democrat you pretend to be ,” Wanjigi said.

According to him, he has known Raila since 1991 and the former prime minister only changed after the handshake in 2018. Wanjigi says that he has become intoxicated by powers.

He however said  that he will announce his political way forward in the coming week.

“My relationship with him, at least politically, is over. I have been shown the door by ODM. This coming week I will be announcing my direction in my quest for the presidency,” he said.
