Two Ruto allied lawmakers Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria and Ainabkoi MP William Chepkut are now hospitalized with serious leg injuries.
Moses Kuria was admitted at Karen Hospital on September 27th after an accident with his electric blanket left him with serious burns requiring a long hospital stay and an even lengthier route to recovery.
The controversial Gatundu South MP did not feel the severe burns for a while and did not get treatment immediately.
Kuria’s treatment has not been disclosed, but the MP underwent at least two surgeries since he was admitted at Karen hospital.
Even before the dust settles on Kuria’s accident, Ainabkoi MP William Chepkut also got involved in an accident that saw him admitted in hospital with leg injuries.
Chepkut is said to have fallen down and injured some parts of his body. The reason behind his falling remains unknown.
Several politicians have already trooped to hospital to check on the injured Ainabkoi MP whose mobility was affected.
In a photo posted by Oscar Sudi on social media, Chepkut is seen bandaged both his two legs and the right arm.
“This morning I paid a visit to my friend and colleague Hon. William Chepkut who is currently receiving treatment in hospital. I wish you speedy recovery Mheshimiwa,” wrote Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi.
Businessman Bundotich Kiprop alias Buzeki also visited the Ainabkoi MP in hospital to wish him quick recovery.
“Passed by to visit my area MP and friend Hon. Chepkut as he recuperates in hospital. Our thoughts and prayers are with him, may good health envelop him, spurring a quick recovery,” wrote Buzeki.
