Activist Boniface Mwangi won’t just stop dwelling on the relationship affairs of prominent Kenyan figures especially the governors and their spouses.
Months after destroying the image of Governor Alfred Mutua and that of his ex-wife Lilian Ng’ang’a by exposing their weaknesses in public, Boniface Mwangi is at it again but this time round he has directed his guns at Meru governor Kawira mwangaza and her hubby Murega Baichu.
On Friday, the activist made sentiments revealing that he knew so much about the private love life of the two couples. According to Mwangi, Murega was/is such an insecure man who is giving his wife Kawira Mwangaza problems.
Specifically, Boniface stated that the hubby does not trust the wife, which is the main cause of the many problems the female governor is facing.
Consequently, the activist urged Murega Baichu to stay at home and let his wife serve the people of Meru in peace, having elected her on the 9th general election.
“Kenyans elected 7 female governors Susan Kihika, Gladys Wanga, Cecicly Mbarire, Wavinya Ndeti, Fatuma Achani, Anne Waiguru and Kawira Mwangaza. All of them are married and no one has complained about their husbands. The problem of Meru County is Kawira’s husband. He is sabotaging her. Deliberately.” Said Boniface Mwangi.
He continued: “This man should just let Governor Kawira work and they meet at home in the evening. His insecurities are partly to blame for the problems his wife is facing. He should walk away from the limelight. Today.”
In the meantime, the husband to the Meru governor is not just about to stop micromanaging issues in the county.
Despite not being an official in Meru County, Murega Baichu calls the shots and dictates to the wife Kawira Mwangaza on how best to run the county.
At some point, the man who also doubles up as an artist was accused of pocketing millions of money to entertain his wife during the swearing in ceremony.
Also, Murega Baichu on Thursday through a statement made it clear that his wife will not be available for a meeting with the MCAs in private places such as a bar. Below was the full statement by Baichu:
“From Hustlers Ambassador desk; Meru County MCAs got used to hand outs from the previous regime. That’s how they were able to perform below expectation for 5 years.
They celebrated the Governor even when he was going in the wrong direction and failing; their aim was to milk Meru County dry which they did successfully. – many of them were not re elected.
In 2021 the Governor refused to pay health workers salary amounting to three months because of being involved in a legal strike, of which the workers had tried all available peaceful channels with no success.
The MCAs instead of doing their constitutional requirements which is oversight they supported and celebrated him, they helped him to rape Meru County and tear it a part.
Governor Hon Kawira Mwangaza has refused this tread since her motive is to serve the common mwananchi.We have seen MCAs in her meetings, even speaking and praising the Governor. What changed? If there is something wrong in all this drama is the MCAs” Read part of the statement.
