“Abandon This Ethnic Thing” Boni Khalwale Angrily Fires At UDA Colleague Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot

Date:

Tribal bigotry is causing cracks in William Ruto’s camp as Boni Khalwale has clashed with Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot over sickening ethnic remark.

It all started on Sunday December 12th after ODM leader Raila Odinga met deputy president at Uhuru garden during Jamhuri Day fete.

Raila and Ruto shook hands at Uhuru garden and Cheruiyot was quick to share their photo on Twitter, but he got tribal.

In his post, the Kericho Senator termed the competition between the two leading presidential contenders as a Nilotic derby.

Raila is a Luo and Ruto is a Kalenjin – both tribes belong to the larger Nilotes family who are indigenous to the Nile Valley and currently inhabit South Sudan, Sudan, Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, DR Congo, Rwanda, and Tanzania.

“The Nilotes size each other up . The Nilotes Derby on 9th Aug 2022 will be one like no other. Good thing, it will be home either way,” Aaron Cheruiyot tweeted.

Cheruiyot’s tweet sparked a furious reaction from his Tangatanga colleague Boni Khalwale and several other tweeps.

Thee former Kakamega senator castigated the Kericho senator warning that tribal bigotry would reverse the gains made by UDA.

“Kenyans will be voting for a Kenyan. Not a Nilot! Abandon this ethnic thing unless u want to reverse the huge gains we have made for @WilliamsRuto in the nonnilotic voting block…” Boni Khalwale tweeted.

Several other tweeps also condemned Aaron Cheruiyot:
