DP William Ruto promotes himself as the President

Date:

The Deputy President of the great Republic of Kenya, William Samoei Ruto over the weekend stirred up social media after a picture of him wearing a camouflage military attire meant for the Commander In Chief made its way on social media.

William Ruto was given the portrait by a youth who gave him publicly at a function.

It seems the portrait wasn’t commissioned by the Deputy President but by the man himself who somewhat premonised that the DP would be the next President.

AMong most Kenyans who had to say something about the gestures, one social media influencer, Gideon Opiyo had something to say about what the DP might have hinted by receiving such a portrait in public. He wasn’t impressed.

“William Ruto has been promoting such images of himself as the Commander in Chief. He displays extreme impatience to become President. He is counting days, and impatiently waiting for Uhuru to go. Why is this thing a life and death matter for Ruto?” Gideon Opiyo said in part.

“This obsession that has blinded Ruto should be seen as a very dangerous thing. I blame Uhuru and the people around him for making Ruto taste the sweetness of the Presidency. To save Kenya, Uhuru and his team must ensure that they dismantle their project. Moi was a project of the Kikuyu elite, and he destroyed the entire Kikuyu Community. Ruto was a project by the Kikuyu elite to destroy Raila… Now Ruto has gone out of control….. It will take a combined effort of Raila, Uhuru, and all other forces to deal with Ruto…” he went on.

“Kenya is facing a nightmare scenario, and the longer Uhuru takes before dealing with Ruto, the bolder he becomes,” Gideon concluded.
