William Kabogo speaks on joining forces with Gideon Moi to dethrone William Ruto ahead of 2022

Date:

Former Kiambu County governor, William Kabogo has finally addressed reports that have since emerged that he’s set to join Gideon Moi ahead of the 2022 general elections.

The aforementioned reports instigate that the first Kiambu governor was set to join the Kenya African National Union(KANU) which is chaired by Baringo Senator, Gideon Moi.

Kabogo wasn’t amused after learning about the reports that seem to attach him with KANU in the aim of showing unity between the party and KANU.

Kabogo stressed that he had completely left the party back in 2022 immediately after the third president, Mwai Kibaki was elected President reiterating that the people peddling these rumours were stupid.

Speculation that Kabogo was set to team up with Gideon Moi was fuelled by a meeting of KANU officials from the Mt Kenya region held yesterday.

“You people are stupid, why are you saying that I have joined KANU.” William Kabogo said. “I have been working all day, where did I find the time to join KANU?”

“I left KANU in 2002 so you should stop spreading false information, it’s stupid!” Kabogo added.

Ever since Kabogo lost his re-election as the Governor for Kiambu to Ferdinand Waititu, he has kept and maintained a very low profile.

As of the moment, nobody knows his plans for 2022 since he hasn’t shared anything with anybody publicly.
