The musician cum politician, Jaguar who is the Member of Parliament for Starehe has been arrested. The outspoken politician shared on his social media about his arrest without giving out the specifics.
“I’m currently at Nairobi Area. The charges against me are unclear though they seem connected to Mwariro Market. I will keep fighting for my constituents. Being a leader is tough but my resolve remains unshaken. Allocations at Mwariro Market have to be fair,” Jaguar tweeted.
Jaguar real name Charles Kanyi has been arrested for allegedly inciting youth to forcibly occupy stalls at the controversial Mwariro MArket in Nairobi County.
