The embattled Kirinyaga Governor, Anne Waiguru who has been the talk of the entire country today was rather shocked after she was asked to do something that she’s not accustomed to.
The Governor who is currently “fighting” her way of retaining her gubernatorial seat was forced to stand.
Waiguru was asked to stand(it’s protocol) as the Senate Committee as chaired by Senator Cleophas Malala commenced the hearing on her impeachment where she stood up for thirty minutes.
Anne Waiguru stood up for that long because the charges leveled against her were so long.
The charges against the Kirinyaga County Governor, as per the Motion passed by the Kirinyaga County Assembly, include Gross Violation of the Constitution & Abuse of Office and Gross Misconduct.
Senator Malala stressed that the committee handling Waiguru’s case will be honest, fair, and vigilant following.
In the same hearing, Waiguru was so sure of herself that she was seen playing a game of solitaire as her impeachment was going on in the Senate.
