Truth about UDA MP Launching A Desk In His Constituency

Date:

Mathioya MP Gideon Mugo Gichuki has left Kenyans after a photo of him launching a desk went viral.

Kenyans have been left talking and laughing off at the move, because the photo only captured one desk that had a ribbon and balloons.

In the viral photo, the MP was captured cutting the ribbon, to indicate that he had officially handed over the furniture to the school

“Mathioya MP Edwin Mugo launches a desk. Those in attendance clapped and thanked the MP,” Black Samba reacted.

Another X user said, “Look at what UDA MPs are doing in this country, This is Mathioya MP launching a desk. Imagine he is a PhD holder.”

“When you thought you’ve seen enough in Mt Kenya , Mathioya MP decided to launches a desk ..,” read another comment.

A spot check on the MPs Facebook page however indicates that he did not deliver a single desk to the school but over 200 of them including comfortable cahirs.

Aside from that, he also launched a modern ablution block at the same insitution.

“Earlier today, I officially launched various projects at Kanjahi Primary School, including the construction of modern ablution blocks and donations of over 200 new lockers and 200 comfy chairs.

“Am glad that the young learner had a chance to visit Parliament Buildings, Animal Orphanage, National Museum, and Juja Mall, among other places in September last year.
We are determined to enhance all public schools in Mathioya,” he said.

Those who came across the projects have since defended him from critics.

“Why don’t you go to Mathioya’s mp page and see he had may projects to launch and he gave more than 200 desks? Your candidate will fail just as how the Mathioyans did to you in the last gubernatorial election. Kindly end hypocrisy,” an X user said.
