Ndii Reacts to Trolls Calling Him Overweight

Date:

President William Ruto’s economic advisor David Ndii has hit back at his critics claiming he has gained much weight in the viral photo.

In the photo which went viral on Thursday, February 22, Ndii was accompanying President William Ruto and his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua during the Joint National Executive Retreat and Parliamentary Group consultative meeting held in Naivasha, Nakuru County.

His appeared to have increased in size compared to the time he was an outsider in government.

Critics capitalised on the photo to troll Ndii for gaining much weight within a short period of working at State House.

However, in response, Ndii rubbished their concerns indicating that it was a personal issue which does not warrant a public discourse.

Ndii termed the ongoing conversation on his weight as a misplaced priority indicating that it was a tragedy for people to focus on things that do not matter.

“To be overweight is a remediable personal challenge of little or no consequence to the general public. To be empty-headed is an incurable societal burden,” Ndii stated.

“ŨrimÅ© ndÅ©rÄ© ndawa (stupidity has no cure). To have so many imbeciles with nothing better to talk on a public platform is a national tragedy,” he added.
