Brian Mwenda Breaks Silence After Being exposed as Fake Advocate

Brian Mwenda who was exposed as a quack advocate came out to deny claims that he was arrested.

Speaking alongside former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko on Friday, October 13, Mwenda insisted that he was not arrested and assured his family that he was safe.

He however defended himself and said he was ready to provide a clear context of what transpired and how he was able to several cases in court.

“I would like to convey my gratitude to people who are supporting and praying for me. In the fullness of time, I will be able to clear my name. I will be able to prove my innocence and provide the actual context of what is really happening.

“I have all this prowess but I won’t say much. I want to thank my legal team and additional ones Mike Sonko is bringing in the likes of senior Counsel Khaminwa.

” I also want to convey to my family that I am safe and I am not arrested at the moment as it was reported previously. As Sonko has indicated, I’m very open to availing myself to the police station when the time is right,” Mwenda stated.

At the same time, Sonko noted that he would allow Mwenda to present himself before the police on Monday.

He also promised to help him acquire lawyers to defend him against charges that will be leveled by LSK.

“Mwendwa will present himself before DCI when the time is right. I ask Kenyans not to condemn this brilliant mind but support him,” he stated.

“I also ask all the criminal lawyers willing to defend him to join the case,” Mike Sonko added.

Sonko reiterated that his offer to support Mwenda in getting legit academic papers was still on the table. The former Nairobi Governor added that he would go out of his way to seek for best schools abroad to help Mwendwa get the required credentials.
