Meru elders have urged Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi and Women Rep Kawira Mwangaza to leave behind their differences and focus on development.
Njuri Ncheke council of elders Secretary-General in charge of Operations Josphat Murangiri has caused the two leaders who have engaged in a word of words for some time now.
“One of them is crying baby while the other is acting perfect to the other. However, these are the things we are studying to see who is causing tension among the Meru people at the time when we are preaching peace,” the elder said.
According to Josphat, there is no been for tension to raise between the two since they were both elected by the people but were given a different mandate to do hence every one of them should do their duty without supervising the other.

“Leaders should stop engaging in early campaigns when the time of the campaigns reach all leaders will come out and wananchi will scrutinize them and vote for the one they know have the best records,” He added.
