Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury agree to super fight

Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have agreed to terms for what is being billed as a super fight. Both boxers currently hold all the heavyweight belts and they have struck an accord on the financial terms of the biggest fight in British boxing history.

Eddie Hearns, Anthony Joshua’s promoter, in an interview with Sky Sports agreed that both his man and Tyson Fury have agreed to two bouts. And almost as if in response, Tyson Fury Tweeted out:

And while hyping the fight further, Eddie Hearns said, “We’re in a good place. It’s fair to say that, in principle, both guys have agreed to that fight. Two fights.”

The specifics of the Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury fight haven’t been finalized though so there are still no details on the venue and time of the bout.

Both fighters still have some obligation fights to honour before they come face-to-face. Tyson Fury still has a rematch against Deontay Wilder whom he famously knocked out after a dominant match. Anthony Joshua for his part is scheduled for his own title defence against Kubrat Pulev who is the IBF mandatory fight.
