Gladys Chania Husband Murder: Fresh Details Emerge How He Was Heartlessly Killed

Details have emerged how the husband to former woman representative Gladys Chania Mr. George Mwangi was heartlessly murdered in cold blood.

According to a postmortem conducted by government pathologist Dr. Johansen Oduor, the Kiambu businessman died as a result of being hit by a blunt object on the head.

The exercise which was conducted at the Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Friday in presence of the family members also revealed how the killers injured the fingers on his left hands.

“The pathologist said he was hit numerous times on the back of his head with a blunt object,” Mr Peter Muhua, a relative, told journalists.

According to the Daily Nation, Mr. Mwangi’s relatives said their eyes are on the next steps the government will take even as burial arrangements begin. Mr Mwangi’s wife, Gladys Chania is in custody.

Gladys Chania was arrested on 14th October 2022 just two days after the remains of her husband were found in Gatundu’s Kieni forest, Kiambu county.

In the meantime, the court on Monday allowed the police officers to hold Ms. Chania and her co-accused shamba boy Mr. Maurice Mbugua. The two will be held for seven days to allow for further investigations.

An initial report by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations revealed that Ms Chania who contested in the recently concluded had a hand in the husband’s disappearance and subsequent death. Chania was eyeing the Kiambu woman rep position.

Sources revealed that the two had some relationship issues after the businessman allegedly started dating some slayqueen at the expense of the wife. Consequently, it is believed that the move by the husband to date another lady did not go well with Gladys Chania who opted to take the life of her man.

At the same time, the whereabouts of former farm manager Mr. John Mwangi are still unknown days after his mobile phones and clothes were found at the home of the deceased.
